MVS with his typical game, 2 rec. 13yds. Looks like JWat is coming for his job for 10% of the cost.

Find your best 4 guys and make sure they're getting their snaps. It felt like, in the first half, the constant changing of player packages really hurt the group in finding a rhythm. I don't think this is a good idea moving forward.

Identify your best guys and play them.

With that said, it seemed like Ross was starting eat James' snaps.
James is playing himself out of the rotation. And he really has nobody to blame but himself.

3rd and long used to be our down-and-distance. Converted them at an historic rate, as in unparalleled in NFL history. So that's not really much of an argument.

And penalties are part of the game. We overcome them, usually.

Look, you want to believe the offense is fine, go ahead. When I see Pat having to pull the ball down at the bottom of his drop repeatedly, when he's running at nearly twice the rate he was in 2021, when his yds/att is dropping, and so forth, well . . . I'm sticking with the facts.

Counterpoint: he was wide open on a slant that was going for a TD before it was tipped.

The facts are you’re telling me we can’t get it done with the same group we won a SB with last year. It’s ridiculous.

I think it’ll be hard to win a SB with this group too, but that’s the case every year. We gave up Hill and invested elsewhere. It worked with basically this same group last year and now you’re crowing like you’re going to be right if we don’t win a SB this year.

You're the one who used that in your argument. So, is it not fair the other way? But nobody said that, but you. So...

The offense is not fine. The Wide Receivers are not fine. The offense and the Wide Receivers were ahead of this group last year. That's just fact. Can this group of Wide Receivers at least do what last year's group did? We'll see.

GMAFB with this bullshit.

This team with a legit defense can beat anybody, and the WRs aren't as good as they will be down the stretch.

Okay. I don't see how that means much of anything. It doesn't change the fact he is largely a non-factor in most games. Or his 2-13yds today.

We can pick something out every failed play and say, but if this happened it would have been a TD.

What did I use in my argument?

We can win a SB with these receivers.

Proof? We did last year when you doubted them until the very, very end.

The receivers were not the problem in this game. Not at all.

This is not a rebuilding team, we are supposed to be competing for SB's.

Not just a bit off, not even close right now to good enough.

This is typical overreaction drama queen bullshit.

Who the **** have you watched that the Chiefs can't beat? I'd love to hear this shit.

We beat the Bengals last year with Marcus Kemp playing meaningful snaps.

I hope I'm wrong but so far that's the reality.

I like dreaming though, guess we will see when we play a D better than the Lions or Jags.

The Chiefs won a SB with ****ing JuJu as their best WR, but no way Toney/Rice/Moore/Ross can grow in this offense over the season to make up the difference.
