Quote:
The NFL's offseason calendar rolls forward as we approach Memorial Day weekend.

Monday marks the start of voluntary organized team activities (OTAs) for 20 NFL teams.

The Arizona Cardinals, Baltimore Ravens, Buffalo Bills, Chicago Bears, Dallas Cowboys, Green Bay Packers, Houston Texans, Jacksonville Jaguars, Kansas City Chiefs, Las Vegas Raiders, Los Angeles Chargers, Los Angeles Rams, Miami Dolphins, Minnesota Vikings, New England Patriots, New York Giants, New York Jets, San Francisco 49ers, Seattle Seahawks and Tennessee Titans all kick off OTAs today.
NFL OFFSEASON CALENDAR

Let's get these two out of the way.

Is it me or are there more injuries this year than in previous years? Someone should look into the fields and/or turf it doesn't make sense.

KEEP ALL THE DBs...yeah it's a fair point. I think he sneaks on somewhere, how many DBs made last year's roster?

Seems like Skyy is as good of a bet to lead the Chiefs in receiving as anybody.

I was being lazy, so yeah it was 10. How about:

CB - McDuffie, Sneed, Watson, Williams
Safety - Reid, Cook, Edwards, Connor
Hybrid/ST - Johnson, Jones

Who am I missing?

Veach's revamping of our DB group might be even more impressive than the incredible revamp he did with our o-line after the SB loss.

Spags needs a bit of credit as well , so glad he wasn’t offered HC job this year.

Yep...just a few years ago, we were loaded with guys that couldn't cover Mid-America Nazarene's WRs: DeAndre Baker, Tedric Thompson, BoPete Keyes, Antoniio Hamilton, Lammons, Ward, Breeland, Sorenson, Watts...NIGHT AND DAY

Ward is making like 3/45. He’s no scrub.

Breeland and Dirty Dan had their moments before age kicked in.

I mean in a sense a number of guys are hybrids. I think Johnson sneaks in for the ST role. Jones is the one who goes to the PS if anyone. I could see 9 DBs taken at least. I do wonder if we end up with 5 LBs. I could see us not wanting at least one of Cam Jones or Moore to get picked up, and I think one will.

Not confident Edwards makes it.

Not only will Edwards make the team, he'll likely lead the DBs in INTs. Mike Edwards can play, and he's a ball hawk. Which we need.
