That's if we want to make excuses. Personally, all I care about is the most recent meeting.
The first one was a gift as well. 3rd and Forever mistake by Spags. That game also had a kick return TD by Chiefs that was called back on a very silly holding penalty. The guy didn’t need to grab anyone.

Go check out any Bengals forum and you’ll see the same thing. They really think they’re better than us.
In all honesty, I know they’re a great team. Legit good and while we’re better they’ve played us as well as anybody. Getting their OL healthy makes them a much better team and we’re still inconsistent against their defense. Great qb and talented wr for one of the worst football markets. The difference is we’re confident where they’re arrogant. Many of us were unsettled by Justin Reid poking Chase. Bengals rode the burrowhead wave in the cringiest way possible.

It’s the reason I don’t want to just beat them this year. I want to throttle them. There will come a time soon when their freebies stop playing for free. And then it’s going to be a way bigger uphill climb. But I don’t want to wait that long. It would be nice to have a decisive win against cincy and I think we’re very capable of it even though they have a tremendous cap advantage.

Nice photoshop on OBJ's middle, blow it up, it's obvious. no wrinkles in that jersey at all...

Pretty close to blowing them out in 3 of the 4 games. KC still hasn’t played a complete game against them. We’ll see if they can eventually put it all together.

No, many of us would have cringed, just like we did with the Justin Reid comments last year...

Bengals like to talk, it’s what they do best.

Probably why that franchise has no jewelry to speak of . . . . . .

Inconsistent against their defense? We put up 23 points in the AFCCG with Mahomes on one leg and TE's running routes for WR because MVS was the only WR we could get on the field.

The Bengals defense can't really stop the Chiefs.

**** the Bengals.

Just give Mahomes fuel to add to the fire.

Not sure why you are all getting your panties in a bundle....it's pretty obvious from the clip that Chase was saying, "Pat who?" pretty tongue in cheek. He got a laugh out of it as did everyone else in the room. I think it was pretty funny, and I'm pretty sure Mahomes would think it was funny as well. If the Chiefs need that clip as locker room material to get motivated for the Bengals, then we have some pretty significant problems.

Honestly, I appreciate it. After this year I figured the league would have finally learned their lesson on this, but we owe it to those still willing to put fuel on the fire and continue to slight our franchise QB.

The Patriots claimed that nobody believed in them when they were betting favorites to win the Super Bowl. That’s just one example of a team creating some extra motivation for themselves.

Stroupe being all but confirmed as Patrick's mouthpiece last season indicates that Patrick absolutely took it as a slight.

This is fantastic news for us fans.

Point is, he could have just said something like "Mahomes is good, but I'm happy to have Joe as my qb" or something to that effect.
Mahomes and the team have proven over and over that it's not a great idea to poke the bear because they will make you pay for it.

All the great athletes tend to look for something to give them that extra little bit of motivation.
