Mike McDaniels job in jeopardy?

This is pretty interesting but dumb considering McDaniels hasn’t had Tua for a large part of the season.

McDaniel is a good coach. Injuries have derailed their season. I don't understand all the vitriol toward him and the name calling... because he's not some meathead like 9/10ths of the league coaches? Vermeil was a skinny nerd, as was Bill Walsh, for that matter.

If the Dolphins are stupid enough, they are, to fire him...he'll have another job this offseason.

Vermeil was nerdy because he was really into stats and liked wine, and that's where the "nerd" label dies with him. No, he wasn't a meathead, but Vermeil also wasn't a ****ing weirdo like McDaniel is.

It's McDaniel's whiney voice and slight lisp. His stupid haircut. Bulgy glasses. And he's dry and sarcastic as ****. He's actually pretty funny, but as somebody with a similar sense of humor and who has been in teaching/leadership positions before, I have had to learn over the years to read the room and make sure my personality doesn't rub some people the wrong way. Combined with his delivery, and yeah... I think it's more challenging for him at getting guys to 100% buy in. Can he still do it? Absolutely, but it probably doesn't come as easily for him as it does for other coaches. It's more likely that there are some players in that locker room who think McDaniel is the coolest coach ever and some players who like him just fine but find him to be kind of annoying.

In the meantime, it's the internet, and it's pretty unlikely Mike McDaniel reads CP, so who gives a shit? We're having fun mocking him. Not one person making fun of him has said he's incompetent or a complete failure of a head coach. And man, even you gotta admit he's pretty douchey.
