What a weird day of football

-Chiefs flirt with losing to the Broncos
-Dallas almost losses at home to a 1 win Texan team
-Titans get blown out at home against a bad Jags team that they were 7-1 against in the Vrabel era
-Brady gets absolutely boat raced by a team starting its 3rd string QB
-Seahawks lose to a terrible Panthers team at home

Crazy

Doug Pederson is just a good coach.

Crazy enough they aren't quite dead this year. They have a tough schedule but they're now 2 games back and they end the season against Tennessee. If they won that final game they'd have the tiebreaker, all they'd need to do is gain 1 more game somewhere else and they'd win the division.

KC converted the 3rd and 11 with a big play from MVS & Mahomes. Rest of the game featured important rushing yardage from the OL, Pacheco, & McKinnon to seal the deal and keep Denver's offense on the sideline.
I know. I was pretty confounded myself. I had to leave the room a couple times during the second half. But you look at those stats, and the game was really in hand by any measure. The INTs hurt, and there were two big plays by DEN, and everything else was really a pretty dominating performance by the defense.

I always find it funny when people get surprised by this bit ot happens EVERY year. Games are won on thin margins in this league

I almost started a thread earlier in the week titled "Are you ready for upset weekend"..I saw this shit coming.

This is time of the year where the NFL sets up the final ratings push..with only one bye, they have to manufacture drama and interest.

Did you enjoy the the KC game....I got a good laugh when Mahomes threw a 3rd INT into quadruple coverage. Why...because the spread was 9 points and KC was up by 6. A FG kills all the Vegas $$. I immediately said.."KC is going to run the clock out and not score another point".

Dungy was wondering why KC sometimes runs zone and their players look lost...when they are a man team. Well...it lets the other team back in game and controls the spread.

Titans, Miami and Vikings lost...Chargers are back in the fold as are the Panthers.

Sooo exciting...cant you feel it? They want your ass glued to the TV until the final game of week 18...like last season.

Crazy fantasy game as well lol , going against Mahomes down by 3 late I figured we were done , he had Donta and CMC , I had only Lockett with quarter left , SF benches CMC fir last quarter and a half , Mahomes throws a late INT (-3) plus kneel downs , donta rushes for 3 yards putting us down .3 with only 1 - min left in sea game Lockett makes amazing sideline toe tapper for the win .
