I’m super intrigued now.

I thought this would be a slower version of tyreek hill (which is still great. It’s just acknowledging that tyreek is a freak of nature). And he kind of is and that’s ok.

What popped off the screen for me is that he can get you a couple more yards. He has tremendous shiftiness to dodge, and plays surprisingly big enough to muscle forward. How many games have we seen mahomes work for many first downs in a drive? It’s really not ideal because you need perfection on every single play and one yardage loss sends you uphill. There are games where defenses will be forcing us to do a lot of dunk and dunk. Our RBs get 1-2 yards sticking us with 2nd and 3rd and long. We could use some freebie first downs where a playmaker can take something short and extend for a first down.

Now, tyreek could do that and turn a 3 yard stop into a 40 yard touchdown. I don’t think Toney is that guy. But I think he can turn a bunch of short stops and turn them into first downs with a little extra on top. That’s exciting to think about. It’s a weapon we’ve been missing for a while.

I don't think the Tyreek Hill comparisons are fair.

Totally different kind of dudes. Tyreek was never as shifty as this guy, but has better acceleration and of course straight line speed.

But Kadarius' start/stop is just on a whole other level. He's an And1 Mix Tape dude on a football field.

I like the tyreek comparison not because they’re even close to the same player. But because he can fill in for something we missed when tyreek left us. A huge part of our offense last year was when defenses took the top off, we could dump a short one to tyreek and he’d make a gazillion cuts to turn it into a huge gainer. Toney fills that role nicely.

When Reek popped on the scene he did shit more impressive than that without stumbling. Then after a year or two, he started protecting himself by getting down or going out of bounds. I don't know if he was told to protect himself for down the stretch run or was looking for a way out of KC.

On top of that the Broncos are hamstrung screwed for half a decade, and their coach and QB are the laughing stock of the league.

Never take this for granted guys, and appreciate it while we have it, because it doesn’t get any better.
