Any rebuilding team like the Seahawks needs a lot of extra picks, exactly what the Chiefs have.
Rebuilding doesn't start with a QB. I think there are about 5-6 teams that could use extra picks and most of them have some high draft capital.

This better be a smoke screen or fabrication. Trading up for a WR would be so so very very dumb, considering our defensive line situation.
We could roll with the WRs we have now and some day 2 draft picks if we absolutely have to. And I'm fine looking for CBs in later rounds and on the scrap heap. That seems to work. But that strategy has not remotely worked for us with our DL. If we trade up for anyone it needs to be EDGE. I like the idea of trading the farm for Travon Walker if he slides past #5. Or possibly Jermaine Johnson. |

If you go off of the draft chart, pick 29 is worth 640 and pick 30 is worth 620. Combine those two picks and you are looking just outside the top 10. Pick 10 is worth 1300 according to the chart.
I don't think they would use both 1st, but it is possible especially with two picks in round 2. https://www.drafttek.com/NFL-Trade-Value-Chart.asp

I hate this part of the off-season. Every year these fake Twitter morons post inaccurate shit that people take seriously.
It’s like throwing up. You know it’s coming but you have to just get it over with and it’s annoying every damn time

He seems to matchup with what the Chiefs look for. He will be 25 years old for next season. (Not a 1st round pick, but injury concern may have lowered this) He played in 17 games with 16 starts and 67% of the defensive snap counts in 2021. 48 tackles, 6.5 sacks, 15 QB Hits. and 4 PDs. Seattle added Shelby Harris as part of the Russell Wilson trade, but they are not really deep at the DE position. They also have cap space. Why haven't they re-signed him? Baltimore Ravens has been looking at him, but not sure that Baltimore's style of 3-4 defense would fit Rasheem Green. He had an ACL injury and surgery coming out of USC. There was some concern about his ACL in the draft. He has also had some neck issues, but he played 17 games in 2021. Maybe his contract/money demands are high, so keeping teams from looking at him. Fescoe is a complete moron - but FWIW, Nate Taylor (who is absolutely NOT a moron) has the Chiefs trading up for Jameson Williams in his latest mock.
