Quick question: Why is drafting 12 rookies "impossible"? Why isn't it considered viable?

Yea, but after Wyatt comes off the board, a future replacement for Jones at 3T seems kind of difficult to find.

I can see them taking a guy like Logan Hall, but somebody like Travis Jones?

As much as I love the player, I just don’t think it’s in the cards.

I’m also starting to buy a trade up being the plan for EDGE, so after that, I think our early picks are more likely to be WR and CB (assuming we have fewer early picks after the trade up).

Not impossible but teams normally use the extra picks to trade up to get players they want. They could just stay where they are and pick all 12 but it maybe a few to many. Only so many spots for OTAs and camp.

The record is 14 draft selections in one draft in the modern era.

I could see us challenging that mark.

Unless a really good bargain is available to move up with, I still say the likelihood is to move down. With at least one of the firsts.

DeMarvin Leal and Perrion Winfrey are both Jones-like players in terms of skill set and ultimate production hope.

Winfrey I can buy, but Leal has had an awful offseason on top of a disappointing season.

I just don’t see it with Leal, but maybe.

The problem with Winfrey is, I don’t think he’s a 1st rounder, but I also don’t think he makes it to 50.

I think Leal is suffering some from being so known/out there for so long.

I think he’ll be a better pro if used correctly.

Veach doesn’t trade down. He trades up. I think the chances of us making 12 selections is pretty low.
