I'm fine paying Jalen Ramsey at CB. Other than that, I'm not paying. Just find the "protype" you like, keep churning it yearly.

The impact of a good corner vs an average one to me just isn't worth the cost.

Pass rush sure. Cb's? Nah.

As long as we have several competent bodies in the secondary, I’m fine with not having true stars. We just can’t trot any complete garbage out there. The great QBs will always find Jamell Fleming.

The secondary was pretty good last year despite having a terrible pass rush.

Improve the pass rush and we’ll see the defense as a whole look much better.

The problem we've had is the cost and quality at DE in FA. So I'm not bagging Veach entirely for holding fire right now. But if there's no-one else CP is mad keen on at DE and we're picking at 30 - tough at this point to see a sea change in the DL's fortune
