I think Herbert can be better going forward but Russell Wilson is damn good.

Herbert has not even had a season where he's posted a QB rating over 98. Russell Wilson has posted over a 100 QB rating the last 4 years in a row.
OMG! Lets all bow down to a QB rating. They mean shit. He had top talent in Seattle and their offense sucked. They let Russ cook and he ****ed up plenty and was very inconsistent. I think he's good but he's not the great great QB you claim he is.

AFCW QB ranking at the moment,

1 Mahomes
2 Wilson
3 Herbert
4 Carr

The Broncos moving from 4 to 2 in this division is huge for them. They did what they had to do. The trade is fair value for a QB like Russ.

Even with that Pete’s dinosaur offense is not a fit for a HOF top 10 QB. Throw the ball. 32 times a game doesn’t cut it. Patrick threw it 38.7 times a game. That’s throwing the ball 20% more every single game. That’s a lot.

A QB throwing 15 TD’s/3 INT’s with a rating over 100 the second half of the season is not playing poorly. My God
He had a completion % of under 60 in 5 of his last 9 games.

He had 3 games with 0 TDs. Then there were games like Washington where the final stats look good, but it was mostly garbage time end of the game after sucking dick for the majority of it. That was with Washington’s defense being completely banged up too.

He had 1 game of 250+ yards down the stretch.

It’s pretty obvious who watches games and who looks at box scores, because there’s really no debate that he’s played poorly down the stretch the last 2 years. I actually watched because he was my fantasy QB, and he was frustrating as ****.

You’re welcome to make excuses, but it’s just a fact

I know this much. If he is so great then why did they trade him? They traded him because they have seen enough and don't think he's worth his price. They gave him weapons and they still could score for shit.

They played a weak schedule with Pitt, Lions, Houston, Saints, Jax, Wash and Bears and missed the playoffs.

Seattle has a horribly outdated scheme and philosophy. Their lack of a modern passing game is well noted. And their HC wants to play marty ball.

Wilson just does not want to be there.

Every QB has bad stretches. Look at Mahomes. He was piss poor from week 7 to 14 minus the Raiders game bc they were stupid enough to play single high. Every QB has bad stretches.

The point is that this guy isn’t declinng. He’s not washed. He’s still a top 10 QB who is now going to a team with a coach who will probably use him as a real QB and not like Herm Edwards would.

And for the millionth time:

I’ve already said that Russ is still a top 10 QB.

I’ve already said that this is a good trade for the Broncos.

This all started because morons such as yourself were making comparisons to Aaron Rodgers as if Russ is in the same league as him.

True, Wilson has been to two Super Bowls.

Yea, clearly that means he’s the superior QB

The Seahawks all-time great defense surely didn’t have anything to do with that.

Funny how much you’ve changed in the last 24 bourse. Cocky bundle of sticks now, huh?
