I think it's more likely that he's a little in his head about batted balls at the line than that he's just being fancy for the sake of fanciness.

You're right, stats don't matter.

We showed plenty of ugly without looking at the stats page.

We won though!!

Which gives us another week to work on our offense. Keep trying to get the entire team playing well at the same time. That's what we need to do before the playoffs.

Blew them out. Didn't need much. Never trailed or were ever even after the first possession. It's just a different style we aren't used to. In ideal weather games Pat has looked like himself.

That could be. Throwing more low passes to avoid possible INTs. He also had that INT when the Bills DE got his hands on the ball and made a great play. So he's trying to throw away from the defense and makes it harder for his receiver at the same time. Despite what QBs say in press conferences about winning, the INTs have to be hurting his pride a little. No QB wants to be among the league leaders in that category. Not something he's used to so far.

Yeah there are things to work through but the defense has been playing legit. Teams with a Bob Sutton 2018 level defense never go all the way. If you have a defense playing at a top 10-15 level with an explosive QB you at least have a shot.

I love the ****ing zero blitz. Especially against these lesser QBs. It's basically an auto stop on 3rd and long.

Mahomes was 15-29 for 184 yds and our leading receivers were our 2 RB's with 3 catches each.

Defense is playing amazing lately.

But I'd be lying if I said watching games is all that fun right now.

We had 124 yards on the opening two drives.

We had 143 yards on the final 8 drives.

That comes out to around 18 yards per drive after the first two.

Sad thing is we had the bye week to work on the offense and get things right.

We looked great the first two drives and then looked like complete shit the rest of the game.

Nothing got fixed despite all that time to fix it.

Guess we won’t be getting it fixed this year. Just gonna have to hope the defense continues to ball out, the special teams continue to be reliable and the offense does just enough . . . . .

Can’t believe THIS offense (with PMII, Reek and Kelce) would ever hit a slump like this. Wouldn’t have believed it if you told me it was gonna happen.

maybe the chiefs should build a dome for Mahomes?
Chiefs didn't blow them out. Chiefs got beat statistically in all areas except for score, which is really what counts. Beating Donks 12 in a row is great.
