Hill, Hardman, Dorsett, and Ross may be the fastest foursome in NFL history.

![]() I didn't really think about that putting it together. I like Dorsett in a role and he is quick too. Ross, he was so talented coming out... I have to think the Bengals ****ed that up more than Ross. And if anyone can teach "the next Reek" to be like Reek, its probably Reek himself. ![]() But yeah... 2 guys in the low 4.2's and 2 in the low 4.3's would be pretty dope. |

I like all your draft choices, but depending on what database you use, you may well have drafted the first 5 a round early.
Maybe not in reality; we'll have to see. But they're all guys I've researched a lot and like. Player rankings are so all over the place, we won't know until the draft. |

Honestly, this is really good all around except the dearth at WR is going to kill the team next time we face Tampa in the Super Bowl.

I agree, I'd like to have Tryon in the next round and Meinerz in the 3rd, but chances are some team will probably pick them in front of us. Last year I would have loved getting RB Clyde Edwards-Helaire in the 2nd round, but Clyde would have been gone. I hope we pick last in the draft next year, but it does mean we might be picking talent earlier than it seem necessary. |

kccrow,
I like it. It covers the Chiefs needs. With these moves, you have improved - 1. Offensive line -"build back our offensive line" 2. Defensive line - "We’re certainly going to work on the defensive line for depth" 3. Backup TE - "Getting Travis a backup tight end" 4. Secondary- "collect our secondary " and "Identifying more young corners." 5. Improved depth at LB. - "I think depth at the linebacker position " 6. Added WR help. - "getting depth at wideout" I believe those were all items that Brett Veach (quotes above) said were areas to address on the 2021 roster. I'd love to have a healthy John Ross in this offense.
2013 played 13 games, 16 REC, 208 YDS, and 1 TD at Washington. 2014 played 13 games, 17 REC, 371 YDS, and 4 TD at Washington. April 17, 2015 - Knee meniscus tear and knee ACL tear Grade 3 2015 medical redshirt at Washington Sept 30, 2016 - Shoulder Labrum tear - Still played 13 games, 81 REC, 1,150 YDS, 17 TDs Ran 4.22 but strained calf at combine caused him not to complete drills Dec 6, 2017 - Shoulder Labrum tear. Played 3 games. Sept 30, 2018 - Inguinal groin strain Grade 2 Oct 21, 2018 - Inguinal groin strain Grade 2. Played 13 games and had 210 yards and 7 TDs. Sept 30, 2019 - Shoulder A/C Joint Sprain. Oct 2, 2019 IR but returned Dec 3. Played 8 games and had 506 yards and 3 TDs Nov 14, 2020 - foot injury IR. Played 3 games. I'd like to see what he could do, but as you stated, it needs to be a 1 year minimal base with some incentives. With Ross's past history, the Chiefs would have to have plan B in place. |

A free agent WR that the Chiefs could get on a low cost deal, would be Zay Jones.
He is 6-2, 200 pounds and ran a 4.45 40 coming out of East Carolina University. He had some tremendous numbers at ECU, 49 games, 399 REC, 4,279 YDS, and 23 TD. In 2017 he had a good Senior Bowl with 6 REC, 68 YDS and a TD. After being a 2nd round draft pick (37), he played for Buffalo Bills for 2 years + 5 games, 36 games, 90 REC, 1,097 YDS, 9 TD. He was traded to the Raiders mid season and has fallen on hard times there, so the Chiefs would need to blow the stink off of him. In 23 games with the Raiders he has had 34 REC, 301 YDS, 1 TD. Would not mind if Chiefs gave him a try. |
