Watkins/Hardman/Robinson/Pringle: 5 catches, 31 yards

Total no show tonight by the non-Kelce/Tyreek pass catching options.

Add WR depth to the list of needs this offseason, right up there with offensive line IMO.

Not sure how you can blame the receivers when Patrick was running away from immediate pressure all night long. He was under pressure the highest percentage of drop backs in SB history and Tom was under pressure the lowest percentage. This game was lost in the trenches. The huge contract for Clark paid off last year however he's a liability.

We always hear how great qe are at wr but we aren't. It's Travis and Hill doing damn near everything. Robinson and Hardman do almost nothing.

Still holding out hope but it needs to happen next season and it needs to happen in a big way.
Next year is year 3. If he's going to amount to anything, next year will be it. Especially in Reid's offense, year 3 is THE year.

So if he doesn't put it together next year, that's probably the end of it.

Games always are and CP bitches everytime we draft OL early. I bet they don't now. We lost big because Andy has ignored the OL. We spot fill it like its special teams.

Clark single-handedly got the Bucs off the field early in the first. If the offense had DONE anything early, the whole game would have been different.

Draft guys that can already run routes to create separation.

Mooney in the 5th last year would have been nice.

Its not about finding another playmaker on offense. It's about having time to throw. What the hell good would another dynamic WR make when Patrick doesn't even have time to throw deep.

We need to spend some draft capital on offensive line. There is no way around it. It not only helps give Mahomes time, but maybe we could run the ball to have a more balanced offense.

Exactly. Patrick never had time to make his 3rd, 4th , 5th read! Get some o-line where Pat has enough time to go through his progressions and open a hole to run the ball and it will open everything else up! Dude was constantly running for his life. I’m glad he made it out of the game injury free!

Clark had a decent game. Couple sacks early, and a TFL, iirc.

As a whole the defense played well for the whole game. They held TB to just 340 yards total. Just 195 yard passing. You can't really ask for more than that. Hell, if you told me before the game that our defense would hold TB to just 340 yards passing/rushing, I'd have laughed and said we win easily.

We lost because the OL just couldn't hold up, period. The loss of Fish and Schwartz turned out to be a much bigger issue than anyone of us thought. And that's not anyone's fault. They got hurt, and there was no predicting that. I expect Veach to address the OL in the offseason. No reason to think he won't.

I think he needs told exactly what to do. You can watch him mentally lock up and drool on himself every time he is required to make a decision or freelance. Run route X and read the hips to finish the route... he ****s up. Give him the option of returning or fair catching... he ****s up. Send him in to find the soft spot in the zone, he'll go stand next to a defender. I'll never forget seeing him end his route and proceed to stand on his dick while PM freelanced for his life with the rest of the receivers floating toward his scramble earlier in the season. He was the only mother****er on the whole field just standing still. Even the guy covering him was looking at him like, wtf dude.

The guy's brain just can't be trusted. Use him as a track star to pull a safety. Give him routes with absolutely no decision making. Use him as a decoy to clear LB out of a zone or run a jet sweep to the edge. Just don't let him think.

I can't figure out why Pringle is behind him on the chart.

Agreed... he was mostly invisible afterwards. Tampa was able to create a lot of pressure with their 4 down linemen and the Chiefs did not.

Hardman will never be a #2, he's just too stupid. Maybe once in a game he does something great, but it doesn't make up for the 5 or 6 mistakes he makes. Either he puts in a lot of work during the off season and translates it into performance next season or it's buh-bye.

Watkins is a waste of a ****ing roster spot. Should have been cut this past offseason. Was inexcusable to bring him back for the amount we did.
