So lets talk some legit options for our pick.

So with Breeland coming back that pretty much leaves us open to take the best player on the board.

I'd like in this thread to post some videos and such since in a lot of threads there are questions about how good a guy is and what he can do so twitter and youtube of course are great for vids.

Even though I've pined for Willie Gay quite a bit there are numerous other guys I'd be fine with using our pick on because well they'd be fine fits.

So I'll start with some Willie Gay video since I've been asked a few times what he's good at...

Just watched this on YT. I know it's just highlights, but Swift shows better than average acceleration, balance, change-of-direction. He also seems to have good vision and decisiveness.

According to ESPN's analysts he's got a high football IQ and maturity beyond his years.

I keep saying "according to ESPN analysts" because I don't exactly trust their takes many times, but the tape suggests this kid is NFL ready.

Also a very high level receiver, and enjoys competition as he went to UGA when other NFL backs were there and it didn't bother him.

But it's a no for me in round 1. I'd go BPA to a degree in Rd 1 and then take someone like Moss in 2 or 3.
Their careers are also short.

If he plays for you for 5 years at a solid level you got your picks worth, how many players sign second deals with the teams that drafted them, maybe 20%?

This is pick 32 not pick 5.

Look at the Chiefs they currently have....

7 players that they either drafted or signed as UDFA's that they gave second contracts to on the roster, 7 out of 53.

I've seen a few people that have Murray rated higher than Queen. Just sayin'. I'm not sure I do, but I'm a guitar player, for ****'s sake. What do I know?

I think the biggest reason for that is Murray’s ability to play MLB, while also being that team captain leader type. Also, some like Murray’s ability to get after the QB took as an added bonus to his game.

I have Queen higher as well, but it’s close.

I'd love to finally have a baller at linebacker. Both Dorsey and Beach have been subpar in their time here evaluating and adding talent at linebacker, both in the draft and FA.
