So lets talk some legit options for our pick.
So with Breeland coming back that pretty much leaves us open to take the best player on the board.

I'd like in this thread to post some videos and such since in a lot of threads there are questions about how good a guy is and what he can do so twitter and youtube of course are great for vids.

Even though I've pined for Willie Gay quite a bit there are numerous other guys I'd be fine with using our pick on because well they'd be fine fits.

So I'll start with some Willie Gay video since I've been asked a few times what he's good at...

Arnette isn't a bad prospect or anything he just isn't as good as other guys that'll be there.

Yea and I get that part, but Okudah is a significantly better prospect IMO.

Chiefs were looking at Byron Murphy and Rock Ya-Sin last year if we didn't trade our 1st round pick.

If you desire the 9th best CB you shouldn't take him in the first for the simple reason that he'll also be available in the 2nd. This draft is too stacked to reach on a position that isn't a need.

And it isn't a need compared to other positions. Like LB

If you are telling me you'd rather have Damon Arnette than Xaiver McKinney, Grant Delpit, Antoine Winfield, Patrick Queen, DeAndre Swift, Kristian Fulton, I'm going to look at you funny and at least 3-4 of those dudes I listed will be on the board.

Patrick Queen fits a bigger need and I would probably have Queen higher.

Swift probably better talent but positional value makes it close.

Like Winfield..not sure what the plan would be for him, would have to think about it more.

Honestly, haven't watched the safeties that much yet. Just finished the WR's.

I would hope the Chiefs do better work than the amateur mock draft guys..so where he projects to them doesn't matter to me.

But going along with that and assuming it's 2nd round..well, we draft at the end of the 1st...value wise ask any of these people and most will tell you prospects 25-45 are similar in value..comes down to team fit and value of traits. We aren't drafting 12th.
