Let's talk about the Jaguars

No rest for the weary. The train keeps rolling on.

This is going to be a huge test, but at least its at home.

How does this one play out?

I think we're arguing about different things here.

Wet conditions favor the better offense winning the game, not the better defense winning the game. Does that make more sense?

Wet conditions during the game increase the likelihood of turnovers. That doesn't favor a finesse offense at all, IMO.

I bristle at "finesse offense" that's not what this is. The Chiefs can EASILY throw to tight ends and Sammy crossing patterns and throw bubble screens to Hunt and Hill all day in the rain. They haven't done Alex Smith bubble screens this entire season but they easily can play that if the conditions demand it. That's not a finesse offense, it's a stacked one. The Chiefs can play just about any way you want.

It really is! Yesterday I actually got a watered down version at first (low on syrup) and it still tasted pretty good! (Full syrup much better, obvi)

If you go to weather.com they give you the hourly precipitation percentages.

This morning, Weather.com showed 35-50% chance of precipitation at gametime.

Now it's in the 60s.

Umm doesn't matter if it's 10 pct or 90 pct chance. Has no bearing on how much it rains.

Just took a look at Blake Bortles passing charts for 2018. Can you say, "Up and Down"?

Anybody familiar with their offensive scheme? Because passing-wise, it looks like he's allergic to anything beyond 10 or 20 yards ... at the most. Is it slants? TE? Bubbles? Screens? What?

If our weakness is the DBs, it may be we're perfectly fine because (if the JAGs stay true-to-form) they can take the day off. If our weakness is LB coverage, maybe we put DOD or Paul Newman (sp?) in there and bench Ragland for the day (and it wouldn't bother me much if he stayed there for a few weeks).

I'm just not seeing the scare here (as far as the JAGs offense is concerned). What am I not seeing? Yes, Westbrook has had one long TD that should have been about a 20-yarder (that went the distance instead). They appear to prefer the rush up the middle and it looks like Yeldon has some cut-back in his game (probably has a lot to do with their interior line).

Let us not forget we had 4 sacks in the donk game (and 1 tough-ass INT on the boundary).

What am I missing here?
