Yeah, the guy who is a whopping 3 years older and has accomplished WAY more than the other two is in decline.

The other two haven't done shit in this league, yet you're convinced they're going to improve.

Not sure why you have a hard-on for backup WR's.

PS: AND they wen't out and got Alshon.

That’s the entire problem. Everyone keeps bringing up the playoff game and other Alex games as proof of what will not happen in the future.

The Chiefs lost those games because Alex is a pussy. The offense shut down in the playoffs when Kelce got hurt bc Alex is a pussy.

On 2 critical 3rd downs, 3rd and 9/3rd and 13, Alex went full reerun and tried running for the first down and wouldn’t throw it in clean pockets.

Mahomes is not going to do that bullshit.

I wouldn’t be pissed about spending $5-6 million on a receiver like Paul Richardson or Albert Wilson. That’s what the Eagles did bringing in Torrey Smith. I really don’t want to spend twice that much or more on a receiver like Watkins or Robinson.

Chiefs don’t need more star power on offense. They need it on defense.
Watkins would be a great pickup IMO for anything between 1 and 3 years. His value might be at an all-time low considering he has just had two average seasons and has had injury issues. And he has great potential.

If not, a 2nd tier FA WR would be great too.

I also fully expect at least two major signings on the defensive side of the ball, which would be two of Richardson, Wilkerson, Poe, Fuller, Johnson, Butler, etc.

Allen Bailey is a guy that you keep or release depending on what you can get on the FA market.

I wouldn't count on the draft to fix any short-term issue on the Dline which is clerly a weakness right now.

As for the LG spot, I think you have to go with either a draft pick, Ehinger, Erving, Witzmann. Maybe a cheap FA pickup.

Eagles had a young ferocious defense and a DC who didn't suck shit.

Let me know when we get one of those. Then absolutely. Go ahead and blow all that cash on Sammy ****ing Watkins so he can break in half faster than you can say "Sanders Commings"

I would be fine with fixing the offense by signing Norwell at LG, big money. Then focus on Defense.
If we can protect Mahomes and give him an extra second, he will make stars out of the WRs we have.
Then Beef up Defense with FAs and draft. Not rebuilt, RELOADED!!!

GO CHIEFS!!

And they course-corrected that in 2017. Wilson (if he returns), Conley (coming off a serious mid-season injury), Robinson, and Kemp can’t be counted on. Mahomes deserves better opposite Tyreek Hill.

Torrey Smith had just one 1,000 yard season in his career and was coming off two shit seasons as the #1 in SF in which he totaled 800 yards. He was already showing signs of a decline his last year in Baltimore when he had just 700+ yards (which for him is about his average, but Richardson had 700+ last year despite being a #2 in an offense that spreads the ball around and he “hasn’t done shit”)

I don’t have a hard-on for backup WR’s, I just think some of you are too easy to dismiss Richardson because it looks risky on paper.

Yea, Smith might’ve been a safer signing last year, but the upside with Richardson is worth the risk. The guy is an explosive deep threat with good hands.

The most important thing for the chiefs is Mahomes to succeed. Put a shitload of weapons around him

Stack the defense

Doesn’t have to be one or the other

We all agree on that.

Get a Paul Richardson, bring back Albert Wilson or draft someone in round 3.

Plug offensive holes via FA's and fix the defense with young studs through the draft. Profit.

Exactly.

Not sure why people are quick to spend $7M a season on a guy hasn't shown anything more than what we have currently.

I'd rather see what we have in Demarcus Robinson if we're not going after an elite talent.
