Alex Smith expresses his desire to return to Chiefs in 2018

GO AWAY YOU ****ING LOSER. LEAVE NOW AND NEVER COME BACK.

Alex Smith expresses his desire to return to Chiefs in 2018

Quote:
The Kansas City Chiefs' season ended earlier than they anticipated.

The No. 4 seed in the AFC coughed up an 18-point lead in a 22-21 loss to the Tennessee Titans on Saturday, setting up an offseason of uncertainty.

Chief among that will be quarterback Alex Smith.

Despite leading Kansas City to a 10-6 record and AFC West title, the Chiefs are said to be open to trading the veteran pivot. The team set up its future by trading up in April's draft to select quarterback Patrick Mahomes.

Smith has just one year left on his four-year, $68-million contract, and intends to see it through.

"Yeah, I mean, you kidding me? I signed the contract," Smith said when asked after the game if he'd like to stay in Kansas City
, according to Nick Shook of NFL.com.

"I'm under contract for another year, so like I said, I'm not thinking about anything else. Right now, obviously disappointed. Like I said, I felt like we had a good chance, and it's gone."

Under Smith's direction, the Chiefs raced out to a 5-0 start to the season, hit a lull in which they lost six of their next seven games, then won their final four contests.

On Saturday, Smith threw two first-half touchdowns to give Kansas City a 21-3 cushion, but went 5 of 10 for 33 yards in the second half.

The 13-year veteran wasn't prepared to dive further into his future so soon after the loss.

"The game just ended," Smith said. "We'll get into all of that in the next couple of weeks."

Rolling right to buy more time would have been a better option but he saw seven drop in man coverage and didn't see the spy behind his linemen. Plain and simple.

The bigger question is that on 4th down, why is the only viable route option against cover 2 a low percentage post 30 yards down field?

I know Kemp is right beside Wilson. And Robinson(?) is out to the left side I assume. 4th and 9, and the middle of the field is wide fricking open. They are conceding the 9 yards. WTF!!! Audible Alex, Audible!!!

I'm sorry logic enrages you.

You and me both agree it is a mistake....You believe he 'cashed in' and got paid off ..to make that call in a game we were up by 18 points and threw in the garbage 100 other ways than one call early on in the game

Youre saying he knew THAT play would turn the tide enough.....

All I am saying is that I give people the benefit of the doubt..Until theres some evidence of misdoing, I just think it was a mistake...like plenty of other mistakes....its not like they didnt help the titans at all either at times....

If we even get ONE good drive going or make that FG from the turnover in the second half...we win that game.

So you basically are raging because I'm not willing to just accept your theory that this official is paid off by the mob or whatever....

that happened in the SECOND quarter

keep making excuses as to why we lost...

we were up 21-3 in the 3rd Q

never scored any points in the second half....allowed 200 yards rushing...missed the game winning FG...off of a turnover..never forced them to punt....

and "ITS RIGGED!!!"

LOL

cry more please

so you admit he intentionally lied to gift Tenn a 10 point swing in a one point game, when he had no authority to do so, but that doesn't qualify as rigging?

No..

It was a terrible call, I agree..but think about it.....AFTER the call, we were still up 21-3....

thats still beating the spread

everything that happened after that was the reason we lost....NOT that play. Thats what I am saying.

All things being equal, I hope Triplette has the worst luck ever and Karma kicks him in his tiny ****ing dick. He's earned a very miserable rest of his life.
