Well, that's why you're both still here... it's a stretch to say it was even a derailment. There's always going to be a natural conversation flow that will take a thread off different tangents.... on a more heavily moderated board, you might see "take your arguing elsewhere".... but, not here on a day old Alex Smith thread, talking about Reid and quarterbacks.

Smith played badly, as did the rest of the team. But this was not the most important game of the year. Division games are more important than non-division games. We have a good lead in the division right now, but we still have a lot of division games left, enough for Denver or Oakland to catch us. Thursday's game is more important than the Steelers game.
