Yeah, one of the other QBs he drafted won 9 games, is starting again and while he was a 7th round pick, definitely shouldn't count. Maybe he's just better later in the draft, I dunno.

And, I think there are people around here that believe Denver gave up a ton to move up for Lynch...

They sent a 3rd rounder (94th) to move from 31 to 26. Not exactly mortgaging the future there. They dropped 1 pick in R3 to move up 5 spots.

Any GM that swings and misses on their QBOTF selection gets criticized. Elway's done it twice and you all still won't own it. It's sad.

Donk fans were like this when they moved in front of us to get Lynch. now that he is busting hard they are like this

They are saying it is no big deal to waste a 1st and 3rd on QB that is only a backup. Now the Chiefs fans are like this

What's to own? I haven't applauded him for the selections... and so far, it hasn't truly cost them anything too terribly detrimental to the team.

They moved up 5 spots and you expect people to act like he trade multiple firsts that would really have set them back. But, they didn't and it hasn't. If Trevor hadn't wound up being a decent option, sure there would be a lot more fury. Maybe they got lucky with him being better than advertised prior to the draft.

Hell, Brock was a late 2nd rounder in 2012. They would have loved for him to have been the guy, but he chose to head off to Houston. Maybe that saved Elway from really looking bad.

So, in 5 drafts... they used a 1st, 2nd and 3rd on the QBotF and so far it's a 7th rounder holding down the position. You're right, there should be so much more outrage coming off a 9 win season.

Meanwhile, KC spent a 1st and a 3rd to move up 17 spots for PH... they'll wait a year and hope that in 2019, they don't look silly having spent so much to move up. I think it was a solid move to make, quite honestly.
