Terrance Smith got the start at linebacker

Huh?

Didn't notice.

How did he do?

He looks small. I didn't really him do much one way or the other. I thought Wilson got better as the game went on but he really wasn't recognizing screens quickly last night. Of course to be fair I don't know the exact coverage on all those plays.

He also averaged 2 yards per carry riding horseback on the ball carrier. We're going to be in trouble if ramik squares off against a power back. Even when he makes a clean tackle, you can see he strains himself.

I bet they start March this week.

Sutton has just done an incredible job. Thank god he's a million years old or he'd be gone.

I think he did all right, but that's solely because I didn't see him make any huge mistakes that made me realize he was on the field.

Denver also did not run it enough. Their average was very good last night and it was close until late. Their game plan helped us.

Smith could be a good player in a couple of years...It's really kind of odd to see the Chiefs value pass coverage and speed over run defense at both ILB spots in the 3-4.

I saw it right away. Tough to ask young ILBs to come in and start after you lose your star ILB. Hopefully DJ can help coach up March and Ramik enough that they can mask some deficiencies.

Agreed.

Was really intrigued by how they were lining up Jones. Dude is a beast no matter where he is playing.

Our defense is going to have a rough time stopping someone like Blount.

Or LeVeon Bell. He's the best RB in the playoffs. Yes better than Elliot

Denver's run offense isn't very good, but they do have solid receivers, which would make sense to value pass coverage and speed.

I think this is what we're going to be seeing from here on out through the playoffs to combat it.
