Denver missing the playoffs?

at 10-6.

I was playing with the ESPN playoff machine and found an interesting anomaly - If we win out and finish 13-3 AND

Denver -
W @ Tenn
L vs NE
L @ KC
W vs Oak

to finish 10-6

AND Buffalo -
W vs Pittsburgh
W vs Cleveland
W vs Miami
W@ NYJ

to finish 10-6 which is entirely possible for Buffalo ....

Denver is out - not exactly sure why yet - Denver and Buffalo didn't play head to head - possibly common opponents?

Weird post... but, yeah I guess if the Bills win out (big ask), you get your wish. It's one of those strange years when a team with a solid record could miss out. If it happens, it happens.

Fyp

Also I don't think too may Dungver fans will be too upset if this scenario plays out (which is doubtful IMO) they just won the SB. Well besides CaseOfDildos Joe

I don't think it's that tall of an order.

A mediocre Steelers team, a horrible Browns team and a mediocre Dolphins team at home and a terrible jets team on the road?

I was playing around with the playoff machine last night.

I have KC, Oakland, and Denver making it.

I think Denver and KC will be playing for the division in a couple weeks.

The Chiefs will drop at least one more to make it interesting.

The past has no bearing on what happens. They broke the playoff win drought last year. Why not the supposed 13-3 curse this year?

They've only one 1 in 24 years regardless of record, this is equal to (before last year) saying "ooh don't make the playoffs, that's bad luck for us"
