Sounds win/win, dude. Love to see servicemembers able to translate their skills to the civilian market. Did your unit sub-contract the job you were doing previously?

That was the trend while I was in: subcontracting. The military started relying on civilians more than their own.

Shit that I am not proud to admit. As I mentioned previously, I was offered a promotion in lieu of a relocation, but the pay increase, while the location is where I want to be, doesn't quite put me there.

Trying to save up to put a decent down payment on a home since it would be cheaper to own than rent, and any sacrifice is worth that, in my opinion.
