That's gonna finish me off

After 40 years, I renounce my fanhood.

Yeah, I'm a pussy, whatever.

I just can't take it anymore. This franchise is now a national joke. And I can't absorb anymore of this punishment.

It's just not worth it anymore. Life's too short.

Flame away.

BTW, I'm in the middle of Colts/Bengals territory... fuc that!!!!
I could never do that. I can't give up on my team! but I do need to become less invested emotionally for sure. This season drug me back in. Thus, it hurts more when we shit the bed like we did

The 97 team had a legit chance to win, and the 2003 team.

This team was on par with 2010...probably better, but still not a serious contender.

I just can't muster up a strong emotional reaction to today, because I was never emotionally invested.

Quite frankly, the only thing keeping me interested in the NFL is this message board.

I haven't really been emotionally invested for about a year or so.

Neither was I. I just understand where these guys are coming from. Today was the straw that broke the camel's back. For me, it came earlier.

Either way, this team continues to get the same results over and over. Probably a safe bet they won't win a playoff game next year or the year after at this pace, so why even think about it?

I never got the idea of being a fan of a team just because they're a winner. I was born in KC in the '60s, haven't lived there since the '70s. It was never an option to be a fan of other teams, or even to not care.

We can absolutely win a playoff game with a better defense.

I dunno, maybe I'll feel differently in 10 or 20 years. Can't compare I guess.

This loss hurts, no doubt about it.

But I'm just gonna stay and be a Chiefs fan, and continue to chop wood. One of these days, it'll be worth it. Someday.

Win or lose, I'll still be here.

I'm just done. I put too much emotion into this game, hoping and thinking that we would pull this off. I was stoked the first half. Completely lost for words after regulation.

Seriously, these kinds of losses only happen on Madden.

The Chiefs invent new ways to shit themselves in the post season.

Honestly, that's really what it comes down to. I've been a fan longer and therefore much further along in the process.

it wouldn't hurt so bad if not for that strong first half. They made me believe in that moment we were superbowl contenders again after I had stopped thinking that after the second half of the season when our defense imploded. If we had just went and got blown out or just got beat in regular fashion,i think fans would just all high five and say "good season,we will be better next season". After that big start having us feel like we belonged only to get picked apart second half is crushing man. those fans who are always pessimistic and always expect the worst probably aren't feeling that bad right now. Us lets be positive despite reality and the history of the chiefs type of fans are hurting. I think it just shows it pays to be a pessimist apparently if you wanna be a chiefs fan. But I hate being that negative person whos not happy no matter what my team does

On a side note, the Supercross season starts tonight... will Villopoto take the title 4 years in a row?
