Eagles fans on Andy Reid not running the ball

I’m shocked, shocked I tell you to hear that Andy relied to much on the passing game and it hurt him.

Quote:
It’s amazing that he used to do this with us, but we still don’t have a 4,000 passing yard season.

Quote:
There were two telling things for me, despite Reid's pass-pass-pass-punt strategy;
As a head coach, Andy Reid never had a 4,000 yard passer (until this year).
The first year he's gone, we have our running back lead the NFL in rushing yards.

Especially even after his #1 receiving target went down, they passed more. That showed them!

How does Andy literally never learn from his mistakes? How many times has he done this
Pretty much every time he’s ever been in the postseason. It’s time everyone realizes that he’s not a great decision maker.

Quote:
Yes. His tenure with the Chiefs is what pretty much all of us predicted. They will be good bordering on great but will choke away the postseason in heart wrenching ways.
Quote:
The league should force him to coach Cleveland on a mission of mercy and let someone else try and get Alex Smith over the top.

Andy to the Browns could be a match made in heaven. Andy's ability to make the playoffs would trump the Browns inability to do so.
But then once the playoffs start, Andy's inability to win will cancel out the Browns inability to win and together they'll ride a powerful double negative right to the Lombardi Trophy!

Andy has never been able to make halftime adjustments

I love Andy, but that's just what he does.

He's got to do a better job.
Needs to put players in a better position.
Time's yours.

The note I almost sent my KC friend follows.
I decided, since I don't have many friends, to instead to just ask if he was ready to admit that I was right about Reid. His response was "yes."
Still think I'm just a bitter Philly fan? Coming around yet? Still want him in charge of the Chiefs?
Last night provided still more evidence in support of what I've said from the beginning...Reid sucks. From day one, it's been the same shit in KC as in PHI:
- Can't adjust gameplan if things don't work out as hoped.
- Thinks Time Outs come by the half dozen, best if used in first and third quarters, and occasionally to ice your own kicker.
- Quintessential playoff choker. Third all-time for most playoff losses (tied with another Chief coach, Marty Schott)
- Can't manage clock. Leading the game late? Pass more. Trailing? GIve both teams a breather while you dream up the next great passing play.
- Addicted to the passing game. Builds his team around a mediocre QB, who to his credit, Reid coaches up half a notch, but coddles to the detriment of other skill positions.
- Can't get a play to the huddle with enough time left for the QB to actually survey the defense and change the play.
- Forgets his mad-talented Running Back (the list is long, from Duce to Hunt) because there are awesome, smarter-than-you play calls for a pass in the flat on 3rd and 2 to a fullback, or a backup TE.
- Has zero defensive cred, needs a Jim Johnson to run the defense. Couldn't identify a good defensive player if his next meal depended on it. Let someone else do your talent eval, or you'll get a bunch of high-character, high-motor, under-sized, nice guys, who have more grandma-approved attitude than actual talent.
- Shall I wax on about nepotism and the awesome effects it has inside an organization? Britt Reid, Assistant Defensive Line coach, lmfao. Ever work at a joint where the boss' **** up son is on staff? I have, briefly. Not a professional look.
- I called this years ago and you dismissed my critique on hater grounds.
Now are you ready to join me on the Reid Sucks, Get Him Away From My Team, train?
Time's yours.
