New Article RE Brandon Marshall Heading to the Chiefs...

http://www.sportsrageous.com/rumors/...eadline/54083/

New York Jets veteran wide receiver Brandon Marshall has been traded three times already in his NFL career. Marshall has said that he will be disappointed if he gets dealt again with trade rumors that are connecting him to teams like the Kansas City Chiefs.

The Chiefs are considered a playoff tea or will battle for an NFL postseason slot and even a Super Bowl title unlike the Jets, which are likely to miss the playoffs again. However, Marshall said that he’s happy in New York even if the Jets are losing.

The Chiefs are considered a playoff tea or will battle for an NFL postseason slot and even a Super Bowl title unlike the Jets, which are likely to miss the playoffs again. However, Marshall said that he’s happy in New York even if the Jets are losing.

“I would be disappointed if I was traded. I love it here. I want to finish what we started here with Coach (Todd) Bowles. But I don’t think that will happen,” Marshall stated to the New York Daily News.

The Jets are just 3-5 this season but Marshall believes they can still recover this season and battle for a playoff spot. The New York team is coming off a win but is still in last place in the AFC East.

“I want to finish what we started here. We’re not out of it. We’re going to continue to fight, rally the troops and continue to keep this team on the right track,” Marshall added.

Marshall’s name is mentioned in NFL rumors days before the trade deadline on Nov. 1 ,Tuesday. The speculations state that Chiefs might give up a second round pick for Marshall.

“The Chiefs have good options at No. 1 WR (Jeremy Maclin), RB (Charles, Spencer Ware) and TE (Travis Kelce). Adding another weapon, especially a big red-zone target like Marshall, would make the Chiefs very difficult to defend,” Greg A. Bedard of Sports Illustrated stated.

“The Chiefs were knocked off by the Patriots in the postseason last year when they scored 20 points (13 until a garbage-time score). That’s not good enough to upset the Steelers or the Patriots this time around either.”

The 32-year-old Brandon Marshall might get disappointed if he’s traded but the Jets also want assets for the future. If they can deal the veteran wide receiver, like the NFL rumors linking him to the Chiefs, and get valuable picks, New York might prefer dealing him before the trade deadline on Tuesday.
