Watched the finale last night. I enjoyed this even more than 1883. Sheridan has done such a great job with the prequels, it almost makes up for Yellowstone kind of going to shit.

I'm glad this is getting a S2, unlike 1883.

1883 was better, IMO, but this is definitely good, too. The last episode was the season finale? I figured the end of the season finale would have him arriving home.

The daughter in 1883 is the difference for me. Her character annoyed the shit out of me.

It's funny. I just cannot get into Yellowstone. It seems too soap-opera-ish and shallow to me. i've given it a couple multi-episode trials and it just doesn't grab me.

However, I have really enjoyed both 1883 and 1923. The Hunter-Heiress story is a bit romance-novel like, but the acting on these miniseries is well done.

I cannot ****ing wait for Spencer to get to Bozeman and destroy fools! Probably what I’m looking most forward to season 2. It’s a really good show. We finished 1883 last week then binged 1923 over the weekend.

I'm currently watching S1 E6 of this, and man its just exactly as good as early Yellowstone... Ford is probably even better than Costner, and Mirren is incredible

Sheridan will eventually forget about this show chasing his next payday, but yeah season one so far is worth every minute

I finished season 2. It was fantastic. The west was a place to get yourself killed very very harshly.

Definitely not a feel good show. Some tremendous performances, absolutely brutal writing, and a reminder that only 100 years ago things were pretty unforgiving across much of the USA.

Yep, our ancestors went through a lot of pain to settle the west. They didn't sigarcoat it. A million ways to die in the west was supposed to be a comedy.

Definitely a different reaction than mine. I was rather bored with this entire season. The finale was better than the episodes before it but still left quite a bit to be desired.

The only compelling characters in this series were Jacob and Cara along with Spencer and Alex in my opinion. The villian guy sucked. His ending was lame as well and the whole S&M schtick became a little played out by the end. The other Dutton kid that got shot was about as anticlimactic as it could have possibly been written. And his wife who was pregnant and then not pregnant was pretty difficult to watch or care about as well. Put me in the bucket that isn't sad to see this series end.

I personally liked 1883 the best out of all the Dutton story thus far. And I enjoyed the first 3 seasons of Yellowstone but then struggled to care about the last few and thought the quality dropped. That being said, I'll probably still watch whatever one is next.

Did you figure out that Whitfield is actually Timothy Dalton, the former James Bond?

I really enjoyed season one, very much looking forward to season two when it arrives on the regular Paramount channel later this year

Yeah I kept talking to the TV saying '' she's pregnant''. WTF??? And the Indian girl getting away with everything including killing a deputy, was way farfetched.. Just a lot of unbelievable things happening throughout the show, but hey,, that's TV nowadays...
