Should the Chiefs have traded up to snag Matt Ryan?

Of course that would have meant giving up Dorsey, but at least we would have our QBoTF now.

It doesn't have to be some huge QB prospect out of a major school in order for it to be a good pick.... most end up busts anyway.

After watching Stafford some, I think he REALLY fits what Gailey would want in a QB. Sort of Cutler-esque in his out of pocket throwing capabilities. JMO.

Ryan goes 9/13 for 161 yards and a TD, against the Detroit ****ing Lions, and he's the second coming of Ben Roethlisberger...

Chargers and Texans fans assumed Ryan Leaf and David Carr would be their QBOTF as well...

Worked out well...

Not to mention, to trade up to #3, we would have had to give up a 3rd round pick as well. So, not only no Dorsey, but likely no Charles as well.

I would give up a RB and DT for a QB in the draft.

RB's and DT don't take time to develope, QB does. We could get those other positions while our QB is taking his youthful lumps
