Herbert is nowhere near a top level QB. Above average but not close to elite.

I call him Philip Rivers 2.0. He's good but not great or top level by any means, my dumbass of a friend thinks he isn't good at all. Like, he considers him a below average starter in the NFL, hence he believes Chad Pennington was a better QB. That's what led me down this path, and when I started, I just figured I'd check others and take a look at the data.

He'll contribute and be a good player on your team but will never carry your season the way Mahomes did for me in 2018 or the way Allen and Hurts have done recently with all their rushing scores. |

Tier 3 under Allen, Lamar and that group, and I'm with ya. (So realistically, Tier 4, because Mahomes is by himself on Tier 1, and the gap between him and everyone else is so big that Tier 2 is empty)

I vote him easily the most overpaid QB in the NFL, he hasn't accomplished shit. At least Lawrence has won a playoff game before I guess. |
