I Know No One Here Gives a Big Damn... [mikey23545]

I'm going into the hospital tomorrow and will be having my left foot amputated probably Monday or Tuesday. Could be followed by my right leg sometime after that.

Diabetes is a bitch.

I don't usually talk about myself too much here, and I'm too argumentative to have many buddies on here...I don't know really why I even felt like sharing this info.

But here I go...Any well wishes will be appreciated, though I don't expect to many...

I'm really sorry to hear that. Good luck to you, and I hope you have a fast recovery.

What's the plan after the amputation? Do you get a prosthetic? I don't really know much about this sort of thing.

I believe there will be enough of a stump left to have some kind of a prosthetic shoe...This has all happened kind of quick after the results of a bone scan test Tuesday and Wednesday, and just hearing the resultsa couple of hours ago...I can tell you more in the next couple of days.

Good luck, mikey. I hope that it all goes well and you don't have any complications. Then you can come back here and tell us about your phantom limb and whose ass it's kicking.
