I wonder if the 49er fans hate us for how much success we’ve had against them in recent times… they’ve been to the NFC championship the last 5 or 6 years or something crazy like that and no Super Bowl wins lmao.

Bills and 49ers are the two teams that have been tortured the most by Mahomes.

Bills at least have beaten us thoroughly during the season and played us competitively in the playoffs. The 49ers in our last two meetings have been outcoached by Andy despite having the better roster talent wise. With that being said I could see this one being a loss.

I wonder how often 49er fans think about picking Solomon Thomas over Mahomes.

Purdy is fine when he’s cheap. Going to suck bad to pay him big money.

They have to think that one pick was the difference between the Chief Dynasty and 49er Dynasty.

49ers are pretty well run as far as I can tell. They have no problems finding playmakers. You could do a lot worse than Purdy as a placeholder until a legit superstar QB becomes available.

Don't ask...Thomas was a huge swing and a miss. But not as huge as Lance...they mortgaged their future for a lower division college QB. Crazy.

You know the answer. We directly handed them Ls in their last two Super Bowl visits lol

We do, it’s been torture. If Greenlaw didn’t hurt himself in the SuperBowl I think our defense holds you and we win.

Truly a tough break, but IIRC Greenlaw was an injury waiting to happen before the Super Bowl. If he ruptured the Achilles running onto the field, it was pretty likely that it would have ruptured at any moment anyway. Everyone deals with injuries.

We'll never know what might have happened if Greenlaw hadn't gone down because that's not the way it works. If it makes you feel better, just imagine that he ruptured the Achilles in the NFC championship game. Either way, he was out.

- everyone thinks their one player they were missing on D would have been the answer when playing the Chiefs. The reality is that you'd be wrong. We out-scheme and out-Mahomes you, no matter who is on the field.
