Whole home audio upgrade
Our home is 20-years old this year. When it was built, the original owner went all in on tech. For example, I have Cat-5 in most rooms. Additionally, he bought an integrated Crestrom system to control the majority of lighting, theater room, and a passive whole home audio system that could play from the CD player and radio.
The system is in obvious need of upgrade. I want to take advantage of the current wired speakers, but uncouple that from the Crestron system. I’d like to be able to stream from devices and be able to control zones and zone volume from my phone or other device as well. Taking a look at available options, I’m seeing products from Juke Audi (Juke Audio +, Juke-8, Juke-6), and OSD Audio (Nero) as viable platforms. So I’m here to see if anyone has experience with either platform or has an alternative approach. I’m not interested in going the wireless speaker route (ie. Sonos) due to the number of zones that I’m dealing with. So, something that will work with my existing passive speaker network is necessary. |

Replying to my own post, but I just ran across the Arylic HA400, which might be the best option for me. Just thought I would throw this in here in case another nerd stumbles into the thread.
