I can't imagine he's going to be too impressed with the effeminate QB with the sparkly nails who is going to be handing the ball off to his guys.

He's not ever going to be a head coach. That ship sailed.

Yep. It's pretty clear at this point he's never going to get a head coaching job so there wouldn't be any reason not to bring him back unless they just don't see use for him.

Back where he started with us. He was a really good running back coach. I'm sure that he will do great at Chicago. I remember Kareem Hunt's first game and how he fumbled his first snap. Beinemy was encouraging him and he ended up having a great game.

Agreed, he's a great addition as a RB coach

Position coach is where he belongs, he's just not an OC or HC

Look, back when people were arguing for or against EB's case for a head coaching job, there were extreme arguments on both sides. A few nutsos thought EB was calling most of the plays. And you had the exact opposite as well where some people thought he was a complete puppet empty suit who served way more as a mascot than he did a coach.

Calling a coordinator a gofer just because he doesn't call the plays is ignoring all of the coaching, teaching, and prep that a coordinator does on a football team. It's reducing the duties and responsibilities to like 5% of the job and saying, "Well, because he didn't do that 5%, he did nothing." And it's honestly saying that EB had more power and say within the organization when he was a position coach than when he was the OC. At least as position coach, the only orders he took was what plays to teach. The rest was completely up to him.

Be reasonable, man. EB did a lot. Did just as much as Nagy, Childress, Doug, or any of his Philly OCs.

It’s always been fishy to me that Nagy and Pederson had no problems getting head coaching gigs but Beinemy did not.

But none of us have any idea how good/bad these guys interview and what exactly they do behind Reid.

I’ll just say that some of the guys hired ahead of Beinemy were complete jokes.

Good reset for him. Ben Johnson will set him up for success in that role. I guess the question is if his ambition will want him craving more. If he settles into this type of role he can have a nice career.
