David Lynch - Dead
Granted you had to be stoned to try and figure him out but it was a fun ride.

I've only seen one of his movies, because after I saw Dune I swore I'd never watch another one.
RIP. I guess. |

Whoa! Guess I didn't realize he was 78, but 78 doesn't feel that old anymore anyway.
I wasn't a superfan or anything, but Lost Highway and its soundtrack got a lot of play from me in my late teens/early 20s. |

Dune was his worst by far IMHO. So much plot and exposition which are the things that matter the least in pretty much every other Lynch film.

Ironically, just last year my opinion of Lynch softened a bit, because he didn't butcher Dune nearly as badly as Villeneuve did. Now I'll never watch another one of that prick's movies, either. |

He’s made some truly bizarre but great stuff Elephant Man, Blue Velvet, Twins Peaks, Wild at Heart, lost highway, Mullholland Drive And then his normal G rated movie The Straight Story was really great too. He was one of a kind. RIP…
