Pre-Combine Offseason Blitz

Come roast me fellas. I’m here for it!

-Restructure Mahomes for cap space
-Extend Joe Thuney
-Kelce returns, create a void year in 2026 to create cap space
-Re-sign Hollywood and Omeihu to 1 year similar deals. Both appear to want to come back and don’t have a good enough market.
-Extend McDuffie
-Sign Nick Bolton (I think this will happen, not what I want)
-Re-sign Juju
-RFA’s re-signed: Nazeeh Johnson, Araiza
-Re-sign Peyton Hendershot, Jack Cochrane and James Winchester (ST’s value for all).
-Re-sign Carson Wentz
-Let walk: Trey Smith, Justin Watson, DeAndre Hopkins, Kareem Hunt, Turk Wharton (sneaky feeling he gets priced out by someone like Khalen Saunders), Derrick Nnadi, Jody Fortson, Keith Taylor, Marlon Tuipulotu, Mike Caliendo

FA’s
-Vet LT. Cam Robinson, Alaric Jackson or whoever. You choose, but I think it’s gonna be a vet.
-Ty Johnson RB-One of the better receiving backs in the NFL and only 28. Huge reason the Bills offense functioned. This is our new McKinnon/D. Williams. Bills are working on paying James Cook which means he should be available.
-Christian Kirk WR-this WR FA class sucks so other methods are needed. No way is this guy staying in Jacksonville at $24 million. He’ll be cut and I think he’ll be a good add as a 1 year small deal player to build his stock back up. Will be 29 this season and still has juice. Need depth this year badly and he’s a solid WR2/WR3.
-Jeremy Chinn S-This is your Justin Reid replacement. He is ideal for Spags system. Elite size, elite athleticism, elite strength, good tackler, very good blitzer and is slightly better than Justin Reid in coverage.
-Teven Jenkins G-Veach loves former 1st rd picks and we need depth in the worst way. Caliendo isn’t worth his weight here and Jenkins has started a lot ofgames in this league. He’s a great insurance policy in case we need a vet G to step in. I seriously doubt any team will want him to start since he’s only played 62% of the snaps due to injury. Think his days as a starter are over, but he’s be a great backup. Should e cheap.
-Jordan Phillips DT-Pennell/Nnadi replacement. Should be cheap. More athleticism to go with strength

Draft
1. Derrick Harmon DT Oregon-I haven’t been shy about how much I like this guy and I think there’s a great chance he’s there. 6’5” 310 lbs and is a very athletic DT who is also excellent against the run. DL was quietly a major problem last year and this guy will help that a ton.
2. Trey Amos CB Ole Miss-this guy is so ****ing good. Ideal press man corner who is very smart and has very good footwork. I’m not confident he will even make it this far bc of his tape. He’s very sticky in coverage like McDuffie and can ID route combo’s. He didn’t play a lot of the slot but I don’t think he would have any problem doing it bc his feet and lateral agility are that good. Would be a Jaylen Watson future replacement but would solve a lot of problems we had this year at CB. Day 1 starter.
3. Savion Williams WR TCU-one of the biggest problems the Chiefs had this year was YAC. This kid reminds me so much of Rashee Rice, except he’s 3 inches taller and 20 lbs heavier. Watch his highlights. He’s got elite acceleration and YAC potential, breaking tackles and will likely put on a show at the combine. He’s ideal for Andy’s offense. With Kelce’s athleticism and YAC potential dwindling, Rice coming off a serious injury and Juju declining, they badly need that YAC receiving threat. As a bonus he’s a jack of all trades. Can use him all over the field. Very versatile.
3. Dylan Sampson RB Tennessee-Good size, track athlete and excellent YAC ability with really good vision. I love this kid. He’s the future and will replace Pacheco in 2026, maybe in 2025. His pro comp on NFL combine by Lance Zierlein? Brian Westbrook.
4. Jah Joyner DE Minnesota-6’4, 263 with 34+ arms. Excellent burst off the ball, can bend the edge and has a tremendous motor. Reminds me of Jalyx Hunt. Raw but has all of the traits and motor that you could want. 12 sacks his last 2 years. Seems like a guy Spags would like to have in the rotation for 3rd down as a rookie.

I’d be down for that. Prefer Jackson at his price and age over Cam

Make it Jackson over Robinson and I have no issues with this.

Gut feeling that they're eyeballing Alaric Jackson. I really like the Ty Johnson idea, and the reasoning for it.

I like the. Ty Johnson add too.

I really think they need to massively overhaul the RB room. We’ve got Pop, but a guy like Johnson with a rookie would be perfect.

I really love those top 4 picks! Read up on Joyner, he’s a project that’s worth the work I think, had 7 batted passes last season! To me, a batted pass is just as good as a sack. That DL could be beastly! …I did the same in one of my mocks. OL is improved, probably. Adding an early CB could make this secondary very solid. Sampson was my first draft crush this year and I’m very intrigued by Williams, part of me feels like you might need to swap those two but what do I know. My only gripe is all things being equal contract wise, I’d prefer to keep Hopkins, dude never drops the ball and I trust him more to make a big clutch play over Kirk. Feels like Hop would take less to stay with us.

Williams: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DZ178XLrEo0 (Noting that like 60% of his highlights come from the HB position = 6 rushing TDs and 6 yards per carry)

Sampson: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zJY-bzuLZ4w

My favorite mock so far!

If Robinson and Jackson can be had for similar dollars, I’d be very disappointed in Robinson over Jackson.
