Many teams call this the Victory formation. Again an unknown in these parts.

Slow your roll from removing tradition. It's called victory NFL style. If you are on the victorious side, it is a glorious sight to behold. If not, ![]()

I wouldn't mind seeing it gone. As it stands, I dont think there is a good alternative, and I dont think messing with the clock rules is the right answer.
We wont see it going anywhere. |

The Omaha! Omaha! Omaha! option is so popular that I may start incorporating into all of my polls.

I'd rather see the spike ball start getting ruled intentional grounding as it should be. I'm fine with the kneeldown and current clock management rules except for the spike to stop the clock.

ok, here's my take on this play. What's the difference between a foot-first sliding QB and one that kneels down? It's the same frickin' play!

Meh. Games are too long already, especially when I'm wanting to watch the second game of a double header.

Kneeldown plays are for pussies. The ball is live. Defenders should just start taking out unsuspecting linemen's knees. - Greg Schiano

No. Part of winning is clock management. The kneeldown or the victory formation are extensions of that.
