2025 OL Prospect Thread

Alright guys, let’s have ourselves a 2025 OL Thread.

Current OL Questions:

1) We’ve invested in OL, what are your thoughts on their development path and potential roles next season? ...Kingsley, Morris, Humpries, Caliendo, & Nourzard.

2) Thuney’s holding it down at LT fairly well and getting paid big money, are you open to him playing there or moving him back to LG? For the playoffs & SB or next season?

3) Are you planning on picking up Jawan Taylor’s contract option in 2026 @ $27m cap hit?

2025 OL Draft Prospects:

Depending on where you look we’ll get a chance to draft one of the following O-Lineman @ #32: Jones, Milum, Williams, Ersery, Simmons, Savaiinaea, Conley Jr or Booker. Some OL prospects that CP members have suggested for rounds 2-4 include Ratledge, Membou, Mbow, Jackson, Nelson, Brown, Colby, Belton, Fairchild & Zuhn, C Grant. Not much consistency in rankings or rounds for these prospects yet.

1) Would you take an O-Lineman in the first round or wait until later in the draft?

2) Who do you have your eye one? Why are they a good fit? Are they starters or projects?

3) Please add your own questions, comments, player draft profiles, links, videos etc for your favorite OL targets below!

I guess what I’m asking is… are we certain that Kingsley is our new LG?

Appears you’re comfortable with it, but I’m uncertain of him all together but rooting for both him and Morris to find their place.

Advanced Stats: "Pass rush win rates for this edge class in actual dropback pass situations (no screen, RPO, or PA), as well as pressure allowed rates for this tackle class in the exact same scenario.”

Definitely interesting, though production against/in PA and RPO plays is critical in the NFL given how much they are used. Seeing the whole picture side-by-side with this one would be more useful IMO.

Good to see my boy Vinson in the top-10 amongst OT's.

Glad to see Logan Brown relatively high on that list too! I think he has starter potential after a year of development.

I think the win rate is more important when we're looking at OTs but not so much when looking at the DEs.

Pass rush win rate is determined a DL winning against their block in 2.5s but that also needs to be hedged against the assignment. If all defensive ends were pinning their ears back and going full-bore to rush the passer, that's one thing, but we know with absolution that is not what's happening on a down-to-down basis or even positionally. I just can't get 100% in on this stat no matter how much it's regurgitated.

Brown is intriguing. Pretty athletic. There are some traits to work with there, for sure.

That's kind of a small sample size to count on but it could work out that way. I thought Nourzad was our best lineman in week 18. Maybe our best line will be with Nourzad in at C and Humphrey at LG.

Cameron Williams said he had a meeting with the Chiefs and got along well with Andy Heck.

I would be pissed if we draft that kid before 95…or maybe even at all. He’s big and has the traits on paper but he is not good

Yeah I'd agree Nourzad looked best, but I'd probably try him at guard first. He'll be a better center but I think there's a solid chance he ends up a better guard than Kingsley too.

Yep a massive projection imo. Good thing is he'd have time, but yeah, wouldn't be thrilled with him.

Oh dear god.... I hope they turned on the tape against Ohio State's pro DEs and realize he just sucks.
