(Way too early) 2025 Round 1 Chiefs Targets

With the football season kicking off soon, I’m curious to know which positions we will target, and who the players are at those positions that we should be watching.

What say you?

I don't care if it's two OG's. Just need good, cheap young talent.
I agree with this.

Teams rarely regret drafting good players.

If it doesn’t fill a need, at least it frees you up to spend cap space in free agency on your needs.

Yeah.

Unfortunately, we're going to have to pay a pass rusher, and pay a Left Tackle-both premium positions. So the fewer other spots we're paying market value, the better off the team is. It's just simple math.

At least we drafted two good WR prospects the last two years. That helps.

Ok, lots of wishful thinking here but after watching Gibbs get 4 TDs this evening it’s fun to fantasize about Jeanty falling within reach of a trade up by our Chiefs. Just like DET, we could run 2 RBs with 1k yard potential by pairing him with Pachecco and open up the offense while taking pressure off our QB.

Jeanty
Pachecco

Kelce
Grey

Rice
Worthy
Brown
Hopkins

...4-Peat day dreaming.

I don't see him getting past the Cowgirls at 12 or wherever they ended up.

I don't know that I could justify it but the NFLSE said Hampton looks like a faster Kareem...shew just imagine a faster Kareem lol.

But its a deep RB class unless its Jeanty I think it would be hard to justify taking one early given our other needs.

I was just dreaming, but he’d be my top pick of anyone in the draft if we could have him.

Imagine our own Jamyr Gibbs in KC…man, that’d be something!

Thanks for tipping me off! This year’s RB class is deep!

Been itching for an RB thread with imbedded videos.

It wouldn't matter, Andy would forget we have a RB on the roster for the 2nd and 3rd quarters of most games

This is one of the better RB drafts in a while, take one in the 3rd/4th.

They haven't hit on pass rushers as much, IMO, because they don't evaluate and or like the right things.

I've watched about 50 snaps of him over the last two days. There is a lot to like. Probably still to rich for us though. Hopefully he's a fan of street racing or something and drops. Kidding. Mostly..
