Bridgewater or Murray, then...if Geno//// ends the season strong and we don't win a lot of games, then we would be in position to take Clowney or another QB.
Either would be superior to Alex Smith and there would still be the chance of one of those guys hitting their upside and winning a championship for us.

After the events of the 2012 season, in addition to the past six seasons of futility (if not 20+ years), why do you believes that Clark Hunt could trot out a team with a rookie QB with serious question marks or a piece of crap like Kolb?
The NFL doesn't exist in a vacuum. Unfortunately, there are responsibilities that go far beyond reaching for a QB.
How many people would show up in November if this team is once again, an incompetent, uncompetitive piece of crap?
