The Tigers are on pace for 88 wins, which is exactly what they had last year. That'd put us at 43-24 to tie.
I agree it's an uphill climb but I think there's zero chance we sell. 1) DM won't want to admit failure, 2) we play the Tigers 11 more times, and 3) the month of September is almost entirely against the Tigers, Indians and Mariners. And finishing against the White Sox.
Outside of all the Tigers and Indians games... after this week we only have two more series against teams with winning records, plus a makeup game against Tampa.
