What it boils down to for me is the old saying, actions speak louder than words. Hunt said a lot of the right things in the radio interview the other day, but we'll see. The fact that "he had no idea what was going on with Shooter" was a big red flag. He is either floating a line of BS with that one, or the guy really is was THAT out of touch, which would make him completely blind. If he really is that clueless and was serious about people reporting to him about football decisions, things could get interesting.
He also said a lot of right things about Scooter, but he is still there which I could see being a determent to hiring a future "decent" coach. With Scooter's rep around the NFL eluding to a grade A asshole, that's not going to help. Yeah yeah, I know Hunt talked about cutting back on Scooters power, but I still don't think a lot of the potential coaching candidates are going to warm up to Scooter being around in any capacity.
