Your team doesn't need a GM to handle day-to-day operations when your team has been eliminated from playoff contention.
Just fire the ****er. If a GM isn't that big of a deal to you, then go get your ****ing head coach and just say, "The previous guy in town graded out perfectly, so he's unavailable."
