He can still throw with velocity deep. Every report I have read has said all of his passes have zip.
And if you look at Manning's stats he has only thrown 8 balls that have traveled 40 yards or longer since 2007. That averages out to two a season. No. Big. Deal.
In Peyton's best year as a pro ( the one where he threw 49 TD's) he only threw 1 pass that traveled over 40 yards.
