I don't care if Guthrie strings together several good starts in a worthless second half; he's not an answer for '13. That doesn't exclude him from developing into one next year, but we cannot start the year with this faulty assumption.

I agree with all of that. I guess I didn't do a good job of explaining myself maybe. As I said I hope we aren't counting on him either. That would be a big mistake. If he turns out to become shinola instead of shit then great... we got something for Sanchez. If we didn't then move the hell right on.
