It was expensive, but it was worth it. Heavy cream is like $8 a quart now, plus $10 worth of mascarpone cheese, plus the cookies and the rum, but OHMIGOD was it delicious.
I'm lucky that both my fiancée and I are good cooks. We're trying to cook as much as possible here lately. Eating out is just too expensive.
