It's not even close that we got the far superior end of the trade. We got an everyday shortstop who is already one of the best in the league for a pitcher who no longer wanted to be here and did nothing to help the Brewers with their goal of an NL title or WS title. Again, you have to remember that Milwaukee was chasing a title or else they wouldnt have done a trade in which they literally sold thd farm. All the other pieces of the trade are icing on the cake for us. Would you really rather have Greinke instead of Escobar, Cain, and Odo? I sure hope not.
