Question for the pizza delivery veterans. What's a reasonable tip?

I generally tip about ten percent. I figure that they're making their money already as opposed to waitresses who get that weird sub-minimum wage stuff. So I can't see tipping the same as I'd get in a restaurant where I'm getting water refills and butter and stuff. But I don't know if I'm clueless. It always causes me stress because I don't know.
I worked for a delivery service that had a much larger area than most pizza places have. We got paid $3 a delivery. Used our own vehicles and paid for our own gas. On a busy night, I would probably get 15 deliveries. But most nights it was closer to 10. Without tips, the job was not worth the mileage you were putting on your car.

Back then, $3 was and average tip. Anything over $5 was a good tip.

Granted that was almost 15 years ago and gas wasn't $3.50 a gallon.
