Do not even THINK about tilting the pizza box.
Your boss will tell you that it has to be close to perfectly horizontal when you carry it, and he/she means it.
If not, the pizza will look like bird shit with dog period splattered all over. Not good.
When I delivered pizzas in high school I got busted for this once or twice. Very nearly got me fired.
