So the league suspends one player for carrying the ball because they don't like him. The rest of the players in the league carry the ball just as often, but they go to David Stern's barbeque in the offseason, so this one player is the only one who gets suspended.
Then, when he comes back to the league, he's still on probation. He very slightly rolls his hand over the ball (nothing near as bad as he did before his suspension, and nothing as bad as the rest of the players in the league do on a routine basis), so the league bans him for two years saying that he violated probation.
How's that?
