saw on the news those patches where to include bar codes for scanning in the future. kind of like a dog with a microchip. they scan it to make sure it's somebodys dog or not and if it's up to date on shots.
or like a scanner at the local auto repair like you hook it up to the buick and one of the 02 sensors goes out
